Welcome!! This corner is for the literature junkies to hangout! If you love to read this is your block. If not, find another corner.
As a volunteer, I don't have a TV to watch my weekly guilty pleasures, and I only work about 30 hours a week at my health center. The other times, I am home planning projects, working on reports, oooooooor doing absolutely nothing. Therefore, I have plenty of time to read. And, oh boy, how I love to read. Here you will find my recent readings. I will link the titles to an info page because I am subject to accidentally ruining the book for you with my descriptions. If you have any book suggestions for me, just leave me a comment below! 1. A Thousand Hills. Stephen Kinzer. 2. Playing In The Dark: Whiteness and the Literary Imagination. Toni Morrison. 3. Between the World and Me. Ta-Nehisi Coates. 4. We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families. Philip Gourevitch. 5. Cane River. Lolita Tademy. 6. Church Folk.
